Cristom Eola-Amity Hills Mt. Jefferson Cuvee Willamette Valley 2023 Pinot Noir, $36.54-$42.99, 95 points, poured a rich ruby red with a broad clear meniscus and a sticky neckless of thin legs.
Aromas of smoky cherry fruit, subliminal floral notes, and hints of chocolate were lovely.
This Pinot Noir Cuvee was a bone-dry medium-bodied red wine with good acidity and supportive but easy tannins, and delicious flavors of Pinot Noir specific flavors with wonderful pepper spices holding fruit and herb notes together.
Finished very long on cherry fruit and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my salsa Texas burger.
