Did yo...Bill, those cupcakes won't go to waste! Did you like the picture?
Did you see John's article on the corks and Riunite lambrusco and how much of that wine is sold? I'm sure those little stores know a "mover" when they sell one. If you saw the size of the cupcake display at MB, you wouldn't believe it; it must have been 10 feet high and ten feet wide with several dozen cases of wines from cupcake. A week later it was half that size.
It's not a bad wine, but I haven't yet had the chance to taste the PN.New Hampshire Winemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07111304557830665931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1402117742947814196.post-55749094691053796092012-11-21T11:08:35.969-05:002012-11-21T11:08:35.969-05:00Did you really go out and buy a dozen cupcakes jus...Did you really go out and buy a dozen cupcakes just to use as props for your photo shoot? That's dedication right there!

For some reason, the owners of the store I used to work for used to keep the shelves flush with offerings from Cupcake. I could understand that if you had a medium or large store and people coming in to shop that price range all the time. But it was a really small store with something like 100 offerings at any given time. Never could understand their devotion to this kind of low-end, mass-produced stuff.Bill Rosichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00646174499508390782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1402117742947814196.post-42165926135978674302012-11-21T05:50:51.061-05:002012-11-21T05:50:51.061-05:00Brendan (Market Basket)This is what I came-up with...Brendan (Market Basket)This is what I came-up with, and is only my opinion, but if I was looking for a Cab (found in NH) under $15, I'd pick, for $10.99, regularly $18.99:

http://nhwineman.blogspot.com/2012/09/shannon-ridge-ranch-collection-lake.html

You will find this at the Derry NHLS near Hannafords, but here is all the listings for that wine:

http://www.liquorandwineoutlets.com/products/detail/16061/cabernet_sauvignon_shannon_ridge_ranch_collctn_09

Wine Entusiast scores the Wine 87 points, but did like it, and there tasters are usually a lot tougher than I am.

That's my recommendation for under $15! Keep in mind that, for example, that WE also scored 88 points for a bottle of $60 Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon!New Hampshire Winemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07111304557830665931noreply@blogger.com
