Lingonberry is a very common red berry in the Northeastern part of Europe, tasting tart to sour and slightly sweet.<br />Pinning one flavor or another to wine is always interesting, but because I've gotten so many hits from Sweden (>3000), I like to identify this flavor which is indigenous there.
