When my son smiled with magnified approval, and the wine magnified his cooking, the $63.49 was worth the price, and I'd buy this again:-)
However, Poggio's little brother (Poggio Antico 2007 Brunello Di Montalcino) was "only" $53.54;-)
I've been thinking a "bit" about wine and perceived value, and I have an analogy with music I mentioned in passing before; I love Ralph Vaughan Williams and Claude Debussy, two composers that arguably are not that complex or technical as some others, maybe Franz Liszt would be a good example, (This is not a hard and fast rule), but the pleasure I have in listening to them is great though not as complex as some, even as this wine (arguably not that complex-yet) gave me a similar pleasure, though the first is auditory while the later is taste. So, if I go to a concert, what would that cost me? TMI, again!New Hampshire Winemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07111304557830665931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1402117742947814196.post-10202845815016517182013-06-20T18:16:30.441-04:002013-06-20T18:16:30.441-04:00Ooh, this sounds delicious, but a bit pricey!Ooh, this sounds delicious, but a bit pricey!Vinogirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10145696108646897751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1402117742947814196.post-51857750904960542512013-06-17T16:17:59.029-04:002013-06-17T16:17:59.029-04:00And to You:)
