Honig Napa Valley 2013 Sauvignon Blanc

Honig Napa Valley 2013 Sauvignon Blanc,
$14.99-$16.99, 92 points, appeared with just a hint lime-green trending slightly gray.
Grapefruit on the nose translated onto the palate with vanilla, honeysuckle, and fresh-cut grass.
The light crisp body carried good acidity, was bright, and delicious.
Finished long on the trailing palate and ginger with a gentle creamy texture.
Varietals were 93% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Semillon, and 1% Muscat.
Paired well with my fish chowder and a steamed Maine lobster.
Honig Napa Valley 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is included in my list of the best 2013 California Sauvignon Blanc white wines.
When in doubt, Honig Winery is "a go-to" for wines!

  1. I like the Honig Napa Valley, do not like the Honig Rutherford.

    1. VG: Interesting! You like-don't-like, but the only Honig Rutherford SB I've had came under 4 points less than this Napa. I find that very interesting! and maybe!! ;-)
