Telmo Rodríguez LZ 2012 Rioja Red Wine

Telmo Rodríguez LZ 2012 Rioja Red Wine, $7.99-$18.99, 88 points, poured a bright ruby trending purple/red at the broad clear wine ring.
Aromatic coffee, toasty blueberry, and strawberry were very good.
Medium to medium-plus body managed good acidity with appropriately supportive tannin.
Loads of red fruit flavors with blueberry, marzipan, and oaky cherry were tart.
Finished long on warm spice notes, a well integrated 13.5% alcohol, and a hint of mint.
I tried to pair this with a BLT, but that wasn't a good pairing, so go with a traditional beef dish, or maybe barbecued ribs. Let me know.
