Willm 2012 Alsace Riesling Réserve, $17.00, 91 points, appeared straw yellow, smelled of flowers, sweet vanilla, and gentle pome.
Light, crisp, very dry, and acidic body carried lemon zest with pear, sweet apple, flowers, and wet flint flavors.
Finished long on a tart citrus, a trailing palate, and a well integrated 12% alcohol.
I've had few French Rieslings, but this is the best so far, and I'm optimistic!
I found this Riesling white wine at the Derry Hannaford's Super Market.
