Napa Cellars Napa Valley 2014 Chardonnay, $14.44-$$19.99, 87 points, poured a dark straw yellow color.
Aromatic lemon/lime, pome blossoms, and a hint of honeydew melon were quite good.
Full-bodied with fair acidity presented a complex oak flavor profile with notes of vanilla, white pepper, over-ripe pear, and apple.
Finished long on ginger, pear, and a modest 13.9% alcohol.
Paired fine with my baked cowboy-cut pork chop.
