Stags' Leap Napa Valley 2014 Chardonnay,
$25.49-$34.99, 90 points, was a light brass color trending clear toward the glass wall.
Aroma was rather typically Chardonnay grape neutral.
Surely this was a Cali Chardonnay marked by kisses of vanilla and caramel, but more a mineral flavor profile accented by soft floral notes.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and a borderline lean texture.
Finished long on hints of melon, vanilla, and a well-integrated 14.2% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Asian cuisine (stir-fried veggies and Crab Rangoon).
