Mahu Maule Valley 2016 Sauvignon Blanc (Chile), $11.69-$12.99, 87 points, poured a light gold color grading clear toward the glass shallows.
Soft aromas of pomelo and hay were delightful.
MAHU SB was very light and very acidic with a grapefruit flavor profile, and subtle lemon and grass accents added a satisfying complexity.
Finished okay on the lemon, hints of ginger, and an innocuous 12.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with our broiled Icelandic Cod loins.
I bought this SB at the Whole Foods of Bedford.
