Duck Dynasty' Robertson Family (in partnership with Trinchero Winery Napa Valley) Duck Commander Triple Threat 2012 Red Wine, $10.49, 86 points, poured an opaque maroon with a broad clear wine ring.
The nose was a slightly saline soft black fruit.
The smooth medium to medium-plus body carried fair acidity with mild tannin.
Flavors of slightly sweet plum, red cherry, and licorice were okay and paired well with my buffalo (hot) wings.
Finished fair on the trailing palate, mild spice notes, tart and slightly sour fruit, and a well integrated 13.8% alcohol.
Varietals (as best as I can ascertain) were Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zinfandel.
I bought this wine at the Derry Hannaford's Super Market.
