Fuligni 2006 Brunello Di Montalcino (DOCG)

Aromatic black tea, roses, juniper with nuanced clementine peel and cocoa were amazing.
There was an unfiltered appearance of sunburst orange which shaded toward a copper-red on approach to the clear meniscus and fat legs.
Medium-bodied silky red wine with good acidity and a fine grainy underlayment of tannin brought to life on the palate flavors of cherry cola as well as a righteously reflected bouquet.
Finished very long on hints of red pepper, truffles, the trailing palate, and a spot-on 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our lasagna.
