Aromas were cinnamon-red cherry, juniper, violets, and black tea.
Medium-bodied red wine with bright acidity, an underlayment of tannin, and a metallic flavor profile nuanced with black tea, violets, and black plums.
Finished long on the fading palate, iron, red pepper, and a well-balanced 14.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with my loaded pizza.
