Aromas of chocolate, wild briar fruit, ripe mulberry, and a hint of fresh oregano were pronounced and interesting.
A full-bodied bone-dry red wine with firmly accelerating tannins tied to a warm (15%) alcohol and cayenne spice nuanced with blueberry and and red raspberry.
Finished quite long on the trailing palate, a hint of citrus, and Zinfandel grape specific.
A lively yet sophisticated Zinfandel.
