Mud House Marlborough 2024 Sauvignon Blanc, $15.79-$19.99, 94 points, was a very light yellow/gold color graying towards the rim.
The aromas were dominated by lovely floral lime notes nuanced with passion fruit, lemon peel, and just a hint of gooseberry.
This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was dry, acidic, complex, and true to its terroir.
Flavors were flinty, citrusy, spicy, and delicious.
Finished long with hints of Necco wafer, ginger ale, and caramel; alcohol was a well-balanced 13%.
Paired perfectly with my baked haddock.
