Dry Creek 2019 Sonoma Fumé Blanc, $14.99-$16.99, 89 points, was near water-clear with a light brass sheen.
Aromas of lemon oil, black pepper, and flint were enticing.
A light-bodied dry white wine with good flavors of tart lemon/lime, melon rind, and pervasive minerality was intense and pairable with lobster in drawn-butter, sword fish, or as I paired it, a deep dish baked feta and spinach pie.
Finished long on grapefruit and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Dry Creek Vineyard, why it's a "go to" winery.
