Campo Viejo Rioja 2012 Garnacha, $4.94-$10.99, 87 points, was the color of rubies with a very broad clear rim at the leggy glass wall, smelled like the Mediterranean sea and strawberries, tasted of red fruit, and was carried on a near medium body with fair acidity and mild tannin.
Finished on a trailing palate, spice, a hint of tobacco with the well integrated 14% alcohol.
