Michele Chiarlo Le Orme 2016 Barbera D'Asti (DOCG)

Michele Chiarlo Le Orme 2016 Barbera D'Asti (DOCG), $9.42-$17.99, 86 points, poured a sienna purple/red color with a clear wine ring and moderate hanging legs.
Aromas of dusty red fruit and blueberry with a hint of juniper were pleasant.
Medium-bodied red wine with bright acidity and a thinly dispersed, but a firm tannic presence supported a dominant red cherry flavor profile nuanced with white pepper, citrus, and a hint of cranberry.
Finished long on the fading palate and a well-integrated 13.5% alcohol.
Paired just okay with my beef lasagna.
