Villa Maria Marlborough Cellar Sellection 2018 Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand), $8.09-$8.99, 90 points, was a light brass color with green highlights and clear at the rim.
The bouquet of passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon zest, and sweet hay were typical, but intense and lovely.
Light-bodied white wine with good acidity and flavors reflective of the aromas.
Finished long on the fading palate, escalating ginger/white pepper, and a spot-on 13% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my seafood platter.
