Rochioli 2013 Sauvignon Blanc

Rochioli 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $33.14-$38.99, 90 points, was a light brass color turning water clear at the glass edge.
Fresh cut grass smells dominated, but soft pome blossoms accented them well.
Medium-bodied with bright acidity and good flavors of gooseberry, cut grass, and hints of cantaloupe which were carried smoothly into a good finish of white pepper and ginger with a firm 14.5% alcohol.
Nearly half of the grapes were sourced from vines planted in 1959'.
Final notes: I thought that the label made for a lovely table-setting, paired well with my broccoli and cheddar soup, but a bit pricy.
