Terra D'oro Amador County Old Vine 2014 Zinfandel, $13.99-$16.99, 87 points, poured a deep sienna color brightening toward the clear wine ring and moderately thick legs.
Smells of mulberry, leather, and a floral vibe were just okay for me.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and a blanket of fine tannins supported flavors reflective of the aromas with cherry cola trailing deep into the long finish energized by the 14.5% alcohol inspirited super spiciness.
