Aromas of cinnamon, cedar, cloves, plums, earth notes, and perfumed rose pedal were excellent.
This revisited Bordeaux was full-bodied, showed a firm underlayment of tannin, good acidity, and earthy flavor notes of peat, loam, and mushrooms nuanced with blackberries, plums, and late palate red pepper.
Finished long on the trailing palate, a whisper of citrus, and a well-balanced 14.5% alcohol.
Paired nicely with my spice-rubbed rib eye.
This wine is improving with age.
