Ramey Vineyard Napa Valley (Russian River-Sonoma County) 2023 Chardonnay, $46.69-$52.99, 93 points, was a light-yellow gold color with a broad graying meniscus.
Aromas of fresh sweet cantaloupe, lemon peel, and other citrus notes were lovely.
This Russian River 2023 Chardonnay was a dry light to medium-bodied white wine, balanced, appropriately acidic, showed bright and clean with delicious flavors reflective of the aromas with accenting ginger notes.
Finished quite long on ginger/white pepper and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my honey/lemon wild caught salmon.
