Buehler Napa Valley 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, $24.50-$30.00, 90 points, poured an opaque ruby red with a thin clear wine ring and copious stained-legs.
Aromas amounted to a cornucopia of red and black fruit, licorice, hints of tar and Lamiaceae herbs.
Another full-bodied Cali Cab, bone dry, showing modest but supportive tannins, fair acidity, and tasty flavors of coffee, blackberries, currants, cooking herbs, and good pepper spiciness.
Finished long on a subtle mint note, black licorice, plum, a hint of milk chocolate, and a big 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Texas burger.
Buehler is/has always been a very good Cab and genuinely affordable.
