Château Franc Mayne Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $34.42-$40.49, 92 points, poured a now familiar purple/red, more red than purple with a transparent meniscus and stained glass sheeting.
Aromas of cinnamon, lavender, cocoa, and toasty red and black fruit were outstanding.
Near full-bodied red wine with good acidity and firm developing tannins delivered light plum, red raspberry, and violet flavors.
Finished long on the trailing palate, easy pepper spices, a hint of mint, and a well-integrated 14% alcohol.
Varietals were 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.

Château Tour St. Christophe St. Émilion Grand Cru 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $27.62-$32.49, 92 points, poured deep purple/reds, more red than purple, with a broad clear wine ring and dense sticky stained legs.
Aromas were a lovely cornucopia of black fruits, cedar, and chocolate.
Near full-bodied, quite dry, showing good acidity, and ubiquitous grainy tannins all coalescing to support a bounty of black and red fruit nuanced with truffle.
Finished long on the fading palate, tobacco, and an alcohol (15%) inspirited pepper spiciness.

Fleurs de Prairie Côtes de Provence 2017 Rosé, $16.99-$19.99, 90 points, was a medium salmon pink color.
Aromatic strawberries with faint cherry blossom perfume and spring water freshness were delightful.
Light-bodied with mouthwatering acidity showed flavors evolving from red fruitiness to white pepper spicy to citrusy tart.
Finished well on the fading palate, watermelon rind, and a balanced 13% alcohol.
Paired nicely with my Mexican cuisine of salsa-beef soft tacos and pepper-jack nachos.

Chateau Ste Michelle Columbia Valley 2017 medium Dry Riesling, $8.99-$11.99, 88 points, poured a light glossy gold color.
Aromas were dominated by sweet apples.
Light bodied with good acidity, appropriately off dry, and showing a dominant sweet apple flavor laced with guava and tart tangerine.
Finished fair on the trailing palate, easy ginger, and a spot-on 11.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with a broad variety of Americanized Chinese cuisine.

Château Dalem Fronsac 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $22.52-$26.49, 92 points, poured deep purple/reds, more red than purple, with a broad meniscus and dense stained legs.
Aromas of red currant preserves and evergreen forest were softly excellent.
Near full-bodied with bright acidity and mouth-puckering tannins (maybe too tight for some at this time), managed to bring forth black and red fruit flavors nuanced with mulling spices.
Finished long and intense on alcohol (15%) inspirited pepper spices with a minty finesse.

Château Barde-Haut Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $37.39-$43.99, 95 points, poured dark purple/reds with a wide meniscus and light stained sheeting.
First smells were cocoa followed by blackberry, plum, and lovely soft perfumed flowers.
Full-bodied with good acidity and firm grainy tannins delivered the nose righteously onto the palate.
Finished long on a persistent palate with intensifying pepper spices, red fruit, and a spot-on 14.5% alcohol.
Varietals were 81% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Franc.
Paired well with our hamburger wraps.
