Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier

Pine Ridge 2009 Chenin Blanc + Viognier,  $12.99-$14.99, 90 points, is simply delicious, refreshing, and interesting. Pine Ridge is nearly crystal clear with light hints of green, an aroma of candied violets, and a tart citrus flavor that is yet creamy.
So, get out of the box and try something new; this is a good value wine of crisp acidity and lush floral freshness.

  2. Claire, value and good wine can go together, now that's refreshing in an age where who knows when that might not be as easy to come by.
    Some pessimism there, but cheers,
    Dennis

  3. Yep! Nice note. Been drinking this one as long as I can remember. An essential "summer quaffer!"

  5. This is one of my go-to-whites...great price, great flavour, one of Vinomaker's favourites (he drinks more white than red)...except for the 2008 (or was it the 2007?) which had some RS and just wasn't quite right.

    1. Vinogirl, I'm not sure if I should wait for you to comment on Frog's Leap to mention that the game of leap-frog we're playing is most fun, but I couldn't wait;-)))
