Provenance Red Wine Napa Valley PWAVE 2011 Red Wine, $21.59-$38.99, 91+ points, appeared a deep burgundy red with flashes of orange and maroon toward a thin transparent rim-ring.
The nose was a very fine sea breeze with toasty plum and roasted coffee.
Full-bodied with good acidity and supportive, but mellow tannin gave a smooth and rewarding mouth-feel.
Flavors mirrored the nose and added hints of black licorice, mulberry, blackberry, and oak.
Finished on a well integrated 13.5% sweet-spot alcohol, dried cooking herbs, and easy spice notes.

Never had a Provenance wine (drove past there just the other day), must rectify that.
