Stags' Leap Napa Valley 2012 Chardonnay, $29.99-$34.99, 93 points, appeared a polished gold color.
Smells of lemons, apples, sweet tangerine, and a hint of cherry blossoms were outstanding.
Near medium-bodied with exceptional acidity and flavors reflective of the aroma.
Finished very long on the trailing palate, escalating ginger and white pepper, a well integrated 14.1% alcohol, and the slightest note of spearmint.
