Frog's Leap Napa Valley 2014 Chardonnay, $25.49-$32.99, 87 points, poured a light straw yellow color.
Aromas of lemon, vanilla, and shy tropical fruit were light and fresh.
Medium-bodied, marked by a rather smooth texture (sur lie aging), with good acidity carried flavors reflective of the aromas which trailed deep into the finish accented by an approachable 13.4% alcohol.
Comments: More a typical Cali (oaked) Chardonnay than I remember, but I enjoyed this wine better after it breathed for a while.
