John Anthony Carneros (Napa Valley) 2017 Sauvignon Blanc

John Anthony Carneros (Napa Valley) 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, $15.29-$21.99, 92 points, was a light brass color which cleared toward the glass shallows.
The vibrant aromas of Lychee, passion fruit, dusty orange peel, and grass notes were excellent.
A light, crisp, and mouthwatering SB carrying flavors reflective of the aromas throughout the palate and deep into the long finish were energized by ginger and a spirited 14.9% alcohol.
Paired well with my Yellow-fin tuna salad.

Wine Specs (for the geek in you).

  1. I think John Anthony do a pretty decent job with all their wines. (As does the entire Truchard family.)
