Jospeh Drouhin Reserve de Vaudon 2017 Chablis, $25.49-$29.99, 91 points, was a medium brass color with a bright yellow sheen.
Apples and lemon zest on the nose were lovely.
Medium-bodied with bright acidity and loads of citrus flavors nuanced with pome fruit was lively and refreshing.
Finished strong and steely on lemon zest, honeysuckle, touch of ginger, and a spot-on 12.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my vegetable cheddar soup with buttered brioche toast.
