Château Haut Boutisse Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine

Château Haut Boutisse Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $28.99-$31.49, 90 points, poured deep dark purple/reds just shy of black with a blood-red penumbra bleeding into the clear wine ring, and moderately fat legs.
Aromatic black fruit, floral perfume, and wild red currants were excellent.
Full-bodied, good acidity, and flush round tannins all supported a richly balanced palate of fruit, herbs, and soft violet notes.
Finished well on the fading palate, red licorice, plum, warm pepper spices, and a balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Varietals were 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc.
