Castello di Verrazzano 2016 Chianti Classico

Castello di Verrazzano 2016 Chianti Classico, $14.44-$19.99, 89 points, poured a deep ruby red color with a broad clear wine ring and light glass draping.
Aromatic red cherry, rose, black tea, and a hint of celery salt were excellent.
Medium-bodied, good acidity, slightly astringent tannins, and flavors reflective of the aromas combined to pair famously with our loaded Ollie's pizza.
Finished long, a bit tart, dry, easy pepper spices, and a complementary 14% alcohol.
