Market Basket, Giraffes, and I did NOT buy this wine at Market Basket!

Riebeek Cellars Swartland-South Africa 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $8.10-$9.00, 86+ points, is a small gesture of support for my friends at the Londonderry Market Basket Super Market. It's been over two weeks since I've been to any Market Basket, because there's no way I'd ignore a boycott where my friends were sticking their necks out and standing there pleading for my support.
This wine (for the record) was bought next door at Hannaford's.
Riebeek Cellars Swartland-South Africa 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, appeared near water clear trending slightly gray with a touch of lemon yellow.
The nose was subtle lemon-zest, honeysuckle, fresh-cut hay, and grapefruit.
Light bodied with fair-plus acidity, a slight spritz, wonderful (though a bit thin) flavors or grapefruit, watermelon, cantaloupe, and kiwi.
Finished well with pepper notes and a hint of the 13.5% alcohol.

    1. Ed: This has been difficult for the customer too; when you're used to less expensive staples, but are willing to join your friends, or in doing what is right (the proof of that is just how willing the 50.5% were and are willing to destroy their own company), there will always be a price!
