Stags' Leap Winery, "The Leap" Estate Grown Stags Leap District 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Stags' Leap Winery "The Leap" Estate Grown Stags Leap District 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, $39.99-$53.99, 94 points, poured core black, quickly grading deep maroon with a broad clear wine ring at the glass bowl of many 'tears'.
An amazing bouquet of profuse aromas brooded over the harmonious smells of roses, cedar, black currant, blackberries, anise, cinnamon, and cloves.
The dancing duo of acids and tannins were complementary and apropos for a square-dance with a rare spice-rubbed filet mignon and asparagus.
Flavors rightly reflected the aromas and were carried along by the near full body into a long finish of tobacco and mint notes, warmly intense spices, and a well-integrated 14.1% alcohol.
A great Cab for $40.
