Why Red Wines Dominate Winter

Why does red wine dominate winter?

Zero degrees, zero MPH, and whiteout equals 'California dreaming'!

Red is hot, and Freaking February is freezing; right now the only reason for me to drink white wine (spicy Sauvignon Blanc) is a bright red steamed Maine Lobster!
All this winter weather has sent me on a mission to find the perfect red wine in the perfect red bottle!

And though ice appears to be overcoming my thoughts of red hot wine, it has not succeeded.
