As I've become dissatisfied with Googles' blogspot (eight year relationship), would anyone like to make a recommendation?

Google is the blog provider and should have posted an advisory concerning 'cookies', please be advised that Google does use 'cookies'.
The main other options would be Wordpress (https://wordpress.com/) and Ghost (https://ghost.org/).

ReplyDeleteVG: I have several issues with blogspot, and there's no response or feedback forthcoming from the provider. I have reason to believe that they use algorithms which have curtailed potentialities that I had hoped for. As an example, because I use the term (descriptor) 'tobacco' blogspot takes that to mean I'm trying to sell cigarettes.
DeleteFor most people, blogspot is free, but I pay for the service, and arbitrarily blogspot has made an early post of mine unavailable to me. There are more weighty issues lurking, but I'll leave those for now.
Just an add-on: Not long ago, Google deleted my Blog Post on Petit Sirah without explanation:
