Frog's Leap Napa Valley "Granite" 2015 Red Wine

Frog's Leap Napa Valley "Granite" 2015 Red Wine, $19.99-$39.99, 90 points, poured deep purple/reds with a broad clear wine ring and a moderately draped bowl.
Interesting aromas of wild mulberries, blueberries, violets, cocoa, and nuanced cedar kept shifting in waves.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and easy fine grainy tannins carried the wild fruit onto the palate with red raspberry and citrus notes.
Finished on the trailing palate, a hint of fig and tobacco, white pepper, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Mexican cuisine.

Frog's Leap Napa Valley, Why it's a "Go to Winery."

  1. This wine is specifically for New Hampshire?

I've been in communication with Frog's Leap, but am waiting for some details.

    1. Funny things about this wine: clerk didn't know about the significance of this wine and its label, nothing found on the internet, nothing on their web site, and media rep never heard about this. I did guess as to what I thought was in it; so here's my guesses: 65% Zin., 20% Cab. Franc, and 15% Merlot; should be interesting to hear from the winemaker (maybe embarrassing), if I ever do.
