Chateau Bonnet 2008 Bordeaux (Revisited)

Chateau Bonnet 2008 Bordeaux (Revisited), $13.99-$15.99, 86 points, poured a deep slightly unfiltered appearance of garnet red with a lighter penumbra, bright meniscus, and light glass sheeting.
Smells were suggestive of the farm with plums on the sour-side and a hint of cedar.
Near full-bodied red wine with good acidity and slightly astringent tannins managed interesting flavors of mint, plum, black currant, and dried mint herbs.
Finished long on the fading palate, mellow pepper spices, licorice, and a restrained 12.5% alcohol.
Varietals were 50% Cabernet and 50% Merlot.
Paired fine with my cheese burger.
