Sinergia 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Valencia, Spain), $16.99-$33.99, 91 points, poured broadly black grading to a deep shiraz purple/red toward the thin clear wine ring and copious stained fat legs.
Aromatic black currants, toast, and a floral vibe were excellent.
Full-bodied red wine with good acidity and firm, but comfortably supportive tannins managed both red and black fruit flavors nuanced with anise, citrus, and herbal flavors.
Finished long on the trailing palate, easy pepper spices, and a warm 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my spice-rubbed Angus strip steak with Portobello mushrooms.
Excellent Cabernet Sauvignon with an excellent QPR.
