Chateau Du Courlat Cuvee Jean-Baptiste Lussac-Saint-Emilion 2016 Bordeaux Red Wine, (Merlot)

Chateau Du Courlat Cuvee Jean-Baptiste Lussac-Saint-Emilion 2016 Bordeaux Red Wine, (Merlot) $15.29-$17.99, 91 points, poured an impenetrable purple/red with a clear meniscus and dense hanging stained legs.
Aromas of cinnamon, clove, and dried cooking herbs nuanced with chocolate, a floral vibe, anise, and red fruit were excellent.
A full-bodied bone-dry red wine with bright acidity, fine grainy tannins, and rich flavors throughout that reflected the aromas showed power and subtlety.
Finished long on a 14.5% alcohol infused spiciness and iron.
Paired fine with my supreme pizza.
This is a high QPR red wine (a definite buy recommendation)!
