Château Abelyce Grand Cru Saint-Émilion 2018 Bordeaux Red Wine, $29.74-$34.99, 90 points, poured an opaque ruby red with copper highlights, a thin clear meniscus, and copious legs.
Aromas were a bit quiet, but a dusty perfumed plum with a hint of coffee were pleasant.
This Grand Cru Saint-Émilion was just barely full-bodied, showed good acidity, mostly resolved tannins, and delicious nondescript flavors of plums, black olives, cooking herbs, and white pepper.
Finished long on the fading palate and a well-balanced 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my veggie/sausage pizza and cheeseburger.
