Vigna madre Famiglia Di Carlo, Kriya, 2024 Pecorino IGP

Vigna madre Famiglia Di Carlo, Kriya, 2024 Pecorino IGP, $11.90-$16.00, 89 points, was a light brass color with a whiteish sheen and a fading gray meniscus.
Aromas were dominated by a faint minerally Chardonnay nuanced with dusty lemon peel, a whisper of vanilla and mint leaf.
It's been a couple of years since I've had this wine, and once I'm done with this review, I'll be interested in making some comparisons, but today this Pecorino was light-bodied, crisp, a bit tart, showed good acidity, and citrusy flavors with a developing robust ginger climax and fading with Sanniti Limoncini Frizzanti Candy (lemon).
Alcohol was a balanced 13%.
Paired just okay with our roast chicken, but better with our fried haddock.
