Michael David Winery 2013 Sauvignon Blanc

Michael David Winery 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $17.06-$18.95, 87+ points, poured a bright gold color.
Aromatic tropical fruits spearheaded by pineapple were very good.
The light body carried fair to good acidity with its crispness slightly curbed with a dollop of Semillon.
Flavors were a rather nondescript club of melons and a slight hint of apple with a residual watermelon rind aftertaste.
Finished fair on a well integrated 13.5% alcohol, black pepper notes, and the barest hint of sour cantaloupe.
I bought the Renwood BBQ 2011 Zinfandel at Angela's Pasta in Manchester.

    1. VG: I thought I had found in NH all the 2013 Cali SB wines there were available here, but as I make it a wrap I saw another at the wine store, so I may yet reach 50 different SBs from Cali; it was a lot of fun, and to taste a wine is to know a wine.
In a way, you've been there all-a-long, thanks for the cyber company!
