Waterbrook Columbia Valley 2017 Sangiovese Rosé

Waterbrook Columbia Valley 2017 Sangiovese Rosé, $16.99, 88 points, was a deep salmon-red color.
Aromas were bright strawberry and bubblegum.
The light-plus body with adequate acidity delivered strawberry onto the palate coated with Necco wafer which followed-through to the fair finish marked by a mouth-tingling white pepper and 12% alcohol.
Paired well with our bean/cheese tacos topped with guacamole and sour cream.

  1. Necco!!!

One of my favourite rosés is a rosato of Sangiovese (Miner Family). I probably would like this wine, but then again it's all about the acid.

    1. VG: As soon as I saw Sangiovese on the label, it was a done deal.
