Matanzas Creek Alexander Valley 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, $15.29-$19.99, 89 points, poured a light gold color.
Aromatic dusty tangerine peel and sweet cured hay were excellent.
The light off-dry body was smoother than many 2017 Cali SB wines I've tasted, while acidity and flavors of stone fruit nuanced with citrus and grassy notes were good.
Finished with a bit of ginger, a little sour, and supported well by the 13.7% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my sautéed fish platter.
