Trimbach Alsace 2009 Riesling, $15.29-$19.99, 86 points, is a light cold color with gray hues.
The nose has a touch of diesel, which is not a bother, but doesn't score points with me either.
A light juicy body has good acidity and carries flavors of lime and hazelnut.
Finishing long with hints of ginger, cap-off what I think is an entry level Alsace Riesling.

Paraiso Santa Lucia Highlands Monterey County 2008 Riesling, approximately $16.00, 87 points, is lemon/lime in color, and the aroma, though not offensive, was a bit like Vaseline and lemon.
This light bodied white wine is just off-dry and has good acidity, and with flavors of lychee, cantaloupe, and lemon, has some complexity.
The finish is fair with some ginger spice and a sour note.

Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Monterey County 2010 Riesling, $9.99-$11.99, 87 points, appeared lemon/lime in color, with a bright apple aroma.
The light body carried good acidity, grapefruit, and almost an apple spritz flavor. Being a just off-dry Riesling, it should pair well with barbecue pork or a smoky shrimp dish.
Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Monterey County 2010 Riesling finished faintly on a touch of ginger.

ZÜM Mosel 2011 Riesling, $9.34-$12.99, 91 points, has light brassy tones, and an aroma of gentle apple blossoms and pear.
An off dry white wine, a near medium body, and lip-smacking acidity carries smoothly its refreshing, crisp, and delicate pome flavors, along with persistent minerality.
The juicy finish is profuse and ends with just a hint of ginger.
A friend of mine stopped by yesterday afternoon for a movie and a light meal of toasted onion-bread and tomato bisque, and an assortment of chicken wings. He says: "Something from your private stock?" So I yanked this Riesling from the fridge, poured him a glass, and watched his expressions of pleasure; I'm expressing mine here!

Klinker Brick Lodi Old Vine 2010 Zinfandel, $16.99-$18.99, 89 points, has a slightly cloudy pomegranate color, and the aroma is sweet red cherry, earth, and cinnamon (very nice).
The medium-plus body carries good acidity, unnoticeable tannin, and is early palate sweet, but quickly becomes a smooth red cherry, plum, and blueberry near-cordial refreshment, and the finish of long-lasting spice, mint, and heat (whopping 15.8% alcohol), cap-off a good effort.
It has been years since I've had a Klinker Brick Zin, and this one was not a disappointment.

Candor Non-Vintage Zinfandel, $14.99-$16.99, 86 points, is pomegranate to cranberry in color with a clear rim.
The aroma is cooking spice and black currant, just verging on vegetative.
A medium to plus body carries good acidity and just noticeable tannin, but the texture is a bit "muddy" and a dull prune flavor is relieved with some red cherry.
The finish is fair with some spice.
My opinion: there are better Zinfandels for that price.
