Chile Sings the Syrah Serenade

TerraNoble Reserve 2007 Syrah, $11.89, 90 points is hard to beat for QPR; with a most unusual and pleasant aroma of hidden blackberries with gentle airs of candy-cane. Typically dark purple and dense color, but the flavor is vibrant, fruit-forward , medium-bodied and bold, with hints of bacon and cigar.
I like this wine, but it doesn't breath as well as the other Syrah-Shiraz I've tasted in this latest group, but this is a great value and will stand alone or pair with spicy cuisine, as its own long spicy finish will compliment.
