Murphy-Goode 2010 Sauvignon Blanc

Murphy-Goode 2010 The Fumé Blanc, $10.99-$13.99, 89 points, was bought at Market Basket in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
The very light lemon/lime color is almost transparent.
The aroma is lemon-grass with just a hint of honey-suckle.
With a buoyant body carrying light-plus acidity and wispy hints of kiwi, pineapple, lemon-grass, and a nice ginger spice finish, this Sauvignon Blanc more than met my expectations.
Paired perfectly with butter/wine sauteed scallops, I'm confident that this wine will accompany most shell-fish, white fish, and crab/lobster cuisine.

    1. John, you're on top of things!
He makes me proud. He works for a large investment agency, but I think he wants his own restaurant.
His wine perception is so much better than mine, but he's not a devotee yet. I think this week I'll do a vertical tasting of the Hall Cabs. A blind tasting with him and his special bud is always fun. I just picked-up a couple of Hall 2008 Cabs; the price is up $7 ($39.94) since I last bought this wine; still a good buy for what you get.
