Klinker Brick Lodi Old Vine 2010 Zinfandel, $16.99-$18.99, 89 points, has a slightly cloudy pomegranate color, and the aroma is sweet red cherry, earth, and cinnamon (very nice).
The medium-plus body carries good acidity, unnoticeable tannin, and is early palate sweet, but quickly becomes a smooth red cherry, plum, and blueberry near-cordial refreshment, and the finish of long-lasting spice, mint, and heat (whopping 15.8% alcohol), cap-off a good effort.
It has been years since I've had a Klinker Brick Zin, and this one was not a disappointment.
